The Supermicro SuperServer F628R3-RTBPT+ is a 4U system that belongs to the FatTwin series, optimized for big data, HPC, and/or enterprise applications that require high-capacity 3.5" drive support. The SuperServer F628R3-RTBPT+ is built around the Supermicro Super X10DRFR-NT motherboard and the SuperChassis F424AS-R1K28BP, (CSE-F424AS-R1K28BP).

The system features four hot-plug system nodes. Each node supports:

16x DIMM slots, (8x per processor) that support up to 2TB ECC 3DS LRDIMM, DDR4-2400MHz

Standalone vs Multi-Node

Standalone Server

A single independent server — tower, 1U, 2U, or 4U rack. One warranty covers the entire unit.

Multi-Node Server Per node

A single chassis housing multiple independent nodes — each with its own processors, memory, and storage. Each node requires its own warranty. A 4-node chassis needs 4 warranties.

90-Day Window: Warranties must be purchased at the time of your server order or within 90 days of purchase. One warranty per server — coverage does not extend to your entire order. Multi-node servers require one warranty per node.

Previous Purchase? If purchasing separately after your server order, you will need your original Server Store order number, your server's chassis serial number (found on a sticker on the rear or side panel, labeled "S/N"), and your server's purchase price.
