The SuperMicro 36x Bay 4U PLEX Media Server with SAS3 Backplane is a high-capacity server chassis that can accommodate up to 36 hot-swappable 3.5" SAS/SATA drives with 12Gbps throughput 1. The chassis also features 7 low-profile expansion slots and 7 8cm hot-swap 13.5Krpm cooling fans with an adjustable air shroud 1. The server comes with optional rear 2.5" removable HDD and redundant 1600W Titanium Level (1+1) power supplies with PMBus.

Good Box for the price

Good server, great customer service

Essentially a plug-and-play server; ordered 24 drives and 1 failed a long smart test. Opened a support ticket with support and they shipped me a replacement.
