Why are RAM prices so high?
The Supermicro AS-1124US-TNRP is a 1U dual-socket AMD EPYC all-NVMe server built on the H12DSU-iN motherboard with a BPN-SAS-119A-N12 12-Bay NVMe backplane. It takes two Dual Socket SP3 (AMD EPYC 7002/7003 Series) processors, 32 DDR4 DIMM slots scaling to 8TB 2666MHz+ DDR4 Registered (RDIMM) memory, and twelve 2.5" U.2 NVMe hot-swap bays behind the integrated AMD SATA controller (SATA drives only - the 12x U.2 NVMe bays connect over PCIe directly, not through this controller).
Expansion is 2x Gen 4.0 x16 high-profile PCIe slots for add-on NICs (the onboard network controller occupies the other two risers). Networking is Intel X710/I350 2x10GbE RJ45 + 2x10GbE SFP+ + 2x1GbE RJ45, with a Dedicated IPMI Port for remote management. 2x 1200W 80 Plus Titanium Power Supplies (PWS-1K22A-1R) keep it powered.
Every unit is professionally refurbished, fully tested, and configured to order so you get exactly the configuration your environment needs.
