Why are RAM prices so high?
The Supermicro A+ Server AS-1023US-TR4 is a 1U dual-socket AMD EPYC server built on the H11DSU-iN motherboard with a BPN-SAS3-815TQ-N4 backplane. It takes two Dual Socket SP3 (AMD EPYC 7001/7002 Series) processors, 32 DDR4 DIMM slots (up to 4TB on EPYC 7001, 8TB on EPYC 7002), and four 3.5" SATA hot-swap bays behind the integrated AMD EPYC SoC SATA controller (SATA only), with optional HBA/RAID upgrade cards. Boot storage is covered by a hybrid M.2 riser (1x SATA, 1x NVMe, up to 2260).
Expansion is 2x high-profile PCIe 3.0 x16 slots for add-on NICs (the onboard network controller and M.2 riser occupy the other two). Networking is 4x 1GbE RJ45 ports (Intel i350-AM4), with a Dedicated IPMI Port (ASPEED AST2500 BMC) for remote management. 2x 1000W Hot Swap 80 Plus Titanium Power Supplies (PWS-1K02A-1R) keep it powered.
Every unit is professionally refurbished, fully tested, and configured to order so you get exactly the configuration your environment needs.
