The Dell EMC PowerEdge XR11 is a ruggedized, marine-compliant 1U rack server powered by 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, purpose-built for challenging environments including telecommunications, military, retail, and restaurant applications. At only 16 inches/400mm deep, the XR11 delivers no-compromise compute performance in a compact, space-constrained footprint, supporting up to 36 x86 cores, DDR4 memory, PCIe 4.0, accelerator support, and up to 4 drives. The server is certified rugged for telco and defense applications, withstanding dust, extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, and a wide range of other environmental variants. Flexible front and rear port options support reverse airflow, giving administrators added versatility without expensive retrofits or HVAC updates. Security is built in from the silicon up, featuring Secured Component Verification, Silicon Root of Trust, OpenManage Secure Enterprise Key Manager, Automatic Certificate Enrollment, iDRAC9 Telemetry, BIOS live scanning, and Rapid OS Recovery. Remote management is handled through the Dell EMC OpenManage portfolio with built-in telemetry streaming, thermal management, RESTful API with Redfish, and full-stack integration with Microsoft, VMware, ServiceNow, Ansible, and many other tools. Supported operating systems include Canonical Ubuntu Server LTS, Citrix Hypervisor, Microsoft Windows Server with Hyper-V, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, VMware ESXi, and RHEL Realtime.
