The server is part of Dell’s 13th generation server family and is specifically designed to meet the needs of business-critical applications that can benefit from the combination of CPU, RAM, and storage that the platform can bring to bear. The R930 supports E7-8800 v4 or E7-4800 v4 processor, with up to 24 cores per precessor. The R930 has up to 12TB (96 DIMM slots) of DDR4 memory. The R930 can house up to 24 hard drives and supports up to 8 Express Flash NVMe PCIe SSDs for fast data access.
